Spring IS here!

Yes it IS true. Spring is here. For those of us who are living in Northern California, we are still experiencing rain, though the downpours have become softer, easier and sharing less of their strength. The birds are mating, singing in the morning and the great Sun is rising earlier and going to bed later.

Spring edible plants are ALL about and ready to be harvested for spring cleaning salads and such. If you take a little whiff you might even smell spring scents emerging and the subtle change of temperature upon your cheeks.

With these gentle changes and the scattering of warm and sunny days it is a great time for you and your children to get outside, sit ever so still and allow the sights, sounds, smells and tastes to fill you up.

This month on my blog, another story is being offered as a little guide for you and your child to listen to. Also included are suggestions on how to use this story to deepen you and your child’s relationship with Earth and Sky.
