Muscle Oxygenation: The missing piece of training.
Knowing how hard your muscles are working is critical for making real-time training improvements. Oxygen is the central piece of energy production which makes muscle oxygenation (SmO2) the most important real-time metric possible. SmO2 represents the continuous balance between the supply and demand of oxygen in the muscles that shows exactly how they're producing and using energy. 
Knowing this puts all the other metrics you're already tracking, like heart rate, power, and pace into perfect focus-transforming that data from trackable into actionable.

I am here to help all athletes at all levels. To my athlete and teammate Zack Perry for racing and completing his first ever 70.3 at Ironman 70.3 Texas in Galveston this past weekend.  Great job!  Now onward to Vineman!  Woot!!


New Athlete Welcome! 


I want to welcome a new athlete to my coaching group.  Carmen Williams!  She lives in California and will be training with me to run the New York Marathon on November 6th!

Always seem to have that big To Do List and your workouts have a hard time getting done? Here are a few tips that will help you organize your day.
and another list....
1. Set your alarm on your phone to get up and going on your workout.
2. Pack you workout bag the night before and set it on top of your car keys.
3. Set goals for each workout in your Training Peaks (see video above), this will give more meaning to your workouts.
4. Remind yourself everyday that you have a goal, to do something extraordinary and only doing the work will make that goal and dream come to fruition.
