Dear <<Last Name>>,
Group Management Services Associates (Group-MSA) is excited to shine a light on its past event ‘The sum of parts’ recently held on May 27th 2016 at the Praha Hotel in Prague, Czech. The quality of the speakers, the suiting location and the possibilities for networking and exchanging knowledge has been of added value for all who were attending.
The event dealt with the most relevant topics for professional and trade associations. Active members of international organizations were invited to attend this dynamic gathering on how to effectively support their association.
Professional member associations are an important part of the economic activities we evolve ourselves in. This past event ‘The sum of parts’ implicating the synergy, the total effectiveness of a group interacting, has succeeded in the choice of topics to support international oriented associations on issues commonly on their agenda. With the aim to connect different cultures, practices and knowledge within the structure of international oriented professional associations this event featured an international group of speakers, both local and from abroad.
‘Breaking communication barriers’ by Jiri Dohnal from Czech Republic emphasized on the communication barriers in our working and daily life. Jiri explained
on very simple techniques which can make a notable difference and remove majority of communication barriers within a relatively short period of time, even if those barriers were nurtured and unchallenged for a much longer period of time. Jiri’s presentation in this respect was enlightening!
The program of the day started off with interesting developments regarding workspace utilization. Elaborating on changing behavior Julian Griffith, presenting
to the audience live from his London office by means of videoconferencing, showed the Condeco
approach on how to respond to these workplace related challenges.
Managing talent by Lenka Dvořáková from Czech Republic gave insight on: What is talent? Is talent a gift or practice? Can talent be managed? Lenka gave valuable practical pointers on directing, mentoring and coaching talent in an organization and more specific: in a professional association.
The final speaker of the program was Raphael Natale live from California, US, also by videoconference. Raphael’s dynamic, interactive presentation
showed how to bring clarity to every communication, boost accountability, turn complaints into contributions, and move from reactive to supportive and proactive in leadership style: ‘successfully managing change is a function of what people bring to their circumstances. It is not based upon a certain set of circumstances happening in a particular random fashion.’
The event ended with a network drink giving fellow colleagues the possibility to discuss common issues and challenges and to elaborate on discussions and presentations which experienced earlier this day.
is currently again planning its next event for this dynamic assembly of individuals and organisations who are actively a member of a professional association. By offering knowledge sharing and learning from the network related to specific focus areas Group-MSA is the reliable partner to support professional and trade associations. During the organization of an event like ‘The sum of parts’ Group-MSA and the association’s representative find the possibility to meet at their mutual interests.
