Hope is growing.
In many ways, our church is growing...some visible, some less so. As the elders met last week we talked about the 50 little ones we have  who are between birth to 5 years old! This incredible gift of little ones also brings great responsibility for us as we deeply desire for them to grow UP, IN and OUT just as we adults are. So we discussed the need for space, more volunteers and eventually staff. These are great "problems" to solve. Towards the end of our discussion, Tommy Mann spoke up and reminded us of our need to keep praying and inviting others to pray with us. He is right! It would be awfully arrogant to "do" things of God without "asking" God to guide us on the journey ahead.

Summer in the Psalms: We look forward to immersing ourselves in one of the most beautifully written books in the bible. If you aimed to read 2 chapters of Psalms a day, you would finish by the end of summer. I hope you'll join me!
Sunday's Message: Our message this week was focused on Psalm 32. When we carry the burdens of our sin all on our own, we live sick, weak, and exhausted. When we bring our sin before God and ask His forgiveness, we are met with joy because of His grace.  This is good and exciting news; that we can live as forgiven people. Listen and be encouraged!
Creation is our theme all summer long! We are working on memorizing our new Bible verse, Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." We are also learning a song, "My God is so Big," linked here: Sing Hosanna - My God Is So Big | Bible Songs for Kids - YouTube
