Handmade Valentines Cards In The Office
A wonderful second grade class has donated over 100 amazing
handmade Valentines Day cards to share with our youth.
They have also donated books to pair with the cards.

The Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) Foundation is excited to invite us to participate in a life-changing program for at-risk youth, the Evans College Incentive Program. Our organization has the opportunity to nominate potential students to receive special resources, privileges, and significant financial assistance to encourage them to attend MPC beginning in the Fall 2019 Semester.

Disney Princess Fun at the Northridge Mall in Salinas
Tuesday, February 12th from 10 AM to 12 PM
Join your favorite Disney princesses for a fun and free Valentine making party on Tuesday, February 12! From 10am-12pm near Starbucks, children are invited to create Valentines they can take home and share with their friends and family. Special to this event, children will receive help and crafty encouragement from Disney princesses! Plus, they'll receive a sweet treat from freshly updated Creemy frozen yogurt.
Año Nuevo State Park Guided Walk
Now through March 31st
During the breeding season daily access to the Natural Preserve is available only via guided walks.
The park offers guided walks lead by volunteer docent naturalist to see the northern elephant seals in their natural habitat inside the Año Nuevo Coast Natural Preserve. Año Nuevo docents go through extensive training and are highly knowledgeable in the natural and cultural history of the park. Elephant seal acivities and population counts can vary widely throught the guided walk season.
Our friends at Blue Ocean Whale Watch have generously donated two pairs of complementary tickets to participate in one of their regularly scheduled whale watching trips. This pass has no set time frame that it needs to be used in, but as the peak while watching season is upon us, sometime soon is probably best!
Petroglyph is generously offering a 50% off discount for you all and your kiddos to use at your leisure! All that they ask is that you wear your CASA pin if possible as an identifier, and then mention that you are a CASA volunteer.
