Start saving for our trip to Great Barrier Island!

Great Barrier Island: Head overseas and you don't need a passport!

In early March 2021, we'll be off to Great Barrier Island to explore this paradise off the east coast of Auckland.
Noel Herman is coordinating the trip so make sure he knows if you are keen to join in the fun.
At this stage we are planning to fly from Onerahi to Claris, and pick up a rental car at the airport.
It's a fascinating place, with loads to explore and plenty to photograph.
Tentative dates are four nights from Saturday March 6 to Wednesday March 10, but this may have to change if accommodation booking proves difficult. Spaces are already filling up fast so we will be booking as soon as possible.
Useful Websites
We have a Triptych competition in March next year.  Rose has discovered the Nelson Camera Club website who have a national Triptych competition every year. The link below will take you to the results this year and a 25 min slide show.  Well worth a look for ideas and how to put together your images.
