Newsletter                                        December 2021
Dear Friends,

As the year comes to a close, we turn our thoughts to the many generous people who have made our progress possible.  This has been an exceptional year for Allaire Community Farm.  Thank you for helping us bring hope and healing to both people and animals.

As we extend our warmest wishes to you this holiday season, may peace and joy be yours in the new year.

A Most Wonderful Gift
With great excitement, we are pleased to announce our Path to Independence is fully funded! Funding was donated by the Nicola-Musso Foundation and its Co-Founder/Director Carolina Musso Foley of Suffern, NY and Spring Lake, NJ.

A six-foot wide ADA Certified Path will be installed throughout the entire farm, and it will allow any guests with wheelchairs, walkers or strollers to easily move around and enjoy the farm.

As part of our original vision we have wanted to implement this project for quite some time.  Receiving this Christmas miracle will now make our Path to Independence a reality.

We would also like to thank Beth LaLiberte (center) for bringing this true need to our attention so many years ago.  Beth's mother, Harriet May Savitz, worked tirelessly for people with physical challenges.  We thank Beth for bringing her mom's inspiration to our farm.

Christmas Light Spectacular and Poinsettia Sale
There is still time to purchase tickets to our Christmas Light Spectacular and Poinsettia Sale.  Rides take place every 30 minutes between 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Thursday - Sunday nights.  We added a Wednesday night the week before and after Christmas.  This fun family event ends on December 30.

Tickets are $15 each for those 2 and over.  Family pictures, hot drinks and snacks, and special twinkle glasses are also available for purchase.  Tickets must be purchased online since seating is limited.

Given the high demand for this event, we are unable to accommodate ticket transfer dates or times.  Refunds  must be officially requested through Eventbrite 24 hours prior to your ticketed time in order to be honored.  You must "Request a refund" from your account.  Direct messages to request a refund, transfer a ticket, or issue a partial credit will not be honored.

Should Allaire Community Farm have to cancel due to inclement weather, ticket holders will be contacted directly.

This special event will fill your entire family with Christmas cheer. Thanks to all who have attended this fundraising event, which will help support our animals over the long winter months.

Petting Zoo Remains Closed until Spring
Our animals are getting ready to settle in for a long winter's night.  Allaire Community Farm's petting zoo is now closed and will officially reopen with our normal hours on April 1, 2022.

We love to watch our animals coats grow long and coarse as the weather turns cold.  Over the winter, we make sure to offer them our best care. It was in 2014, during a snow storm, that our first rescued animals arrived suffering from neglect.  We are so pleased to see that their lives have greatly improved since their arrival.
Last Minute Gifts
Have you been looking for a fun and unique gift for the animal lovers on your holiday list? We have just the thing!

Allaire Community Farm offers Animal Sponsorships, which are set up as subscription programs. A monthly subscription is $10 per month, and an annual subscription is $100 per year. All funds raised through our sponsorship program will be used to support the care of our animals, including items such as food and medical costs. Please note that an animal sponsorship does not represent any form of ownership to our animals.

There is Still Time to Give
There is still time to make a year-end tax-deductible donation to Allaire Community Farm. We know that many of you have supported our farm in countless ways.  We use all our gifts large and small to help special needs adults and children, teens facing mental health issues, veterans with PTSD and families battling cancer. We accomplish our mission through programs, events and outreach that uses animal therapy, equine therapy, organic gardening and vocational training. Thank you for helping us to remain on mission.  Allaire Community Farm is a registered 501(3)c non profit in which all donations are tax deductible.
