The end of the year

Approaching the end of the semester, it has been a productive month for OCC @ Circle K. Despite final weeks and exams, the members still manage their time to come out and help the community.

OCC Alumni Reunion
This is the club first ever alumni event where the club past members and current members hang out, share experiences and networking. We also have the chance to host the event at the brand-new OCC Planetarium. It is a great watching the planetary show and enjoys snack with our alumnis at the venue.

OC Marathon

On May 5, Circle K has a swell time volunteering at OC Fairgrounds. Prepping for the exciting marathon, the volunteers split up to set up, host the registration tables, and shirt stations. Thank you for our Vice President of Service John Park for organizing this event and helping to raise money for the club through this event. After the event, the service scouts have lunch and bond with each other at Pepperluch Tree.

March for Baby

On May 11th, we volunteer at yet another marathon, March for Babies. We help set up and helps participants going through registration and service and cheer for the runners. It is also a great time collaborating this event with the club from CSU Fullerton. Though this is a fun volunteering event, it has a great mission to help to find research that prevents premature birth, birth defect, and birth morality. Thank you Elizabeth Mazuca to organize this event for us

Circle K Internation at OCC banquet: Beyond Your Boundaries

On May 26, we celebrate a successful school year. All board members, old and new, and general members and alumni come together to celebrate a great year. We have a chance to retire the board members of 2018-2019 and celebrate their legacy while passing the torch to the new board members of 2019-2020. They have to fill a big shoe but we believe in them nonetheless. We would also give thank for Wingnut, a local wing restaurant, for sponsoring food for our banquet with tasty and flavorful wings.

Member Of the Month: April

For the month of April, the board is honored to spotlight the club's member of the month,
Kakeru Iwabuchi!
Despite joining late in his second semester of college, Kakeru has reached out of his comfort zone, to help volunteering in service events to attending club meetings and began to grow as a leader in Circle K.
