A great idea from Charter Member, Carl Hunnell.

FosterNeedToKnow.com is out there to help educate and embolden good prospective foster parents before they call you. It can also be used as a nice extension of your own site to further engage and educate people who are looking for info on your website. Simply post a link from your website to the microsite, and announce it using your social media. Carl Hunnell at Richland County added a linked slider to the top of the site and added the link as a news item for curious visitors. Check out their home page HERE. Check out their news page HERE.

If a prospective parent is still enthusiastic about pursuing fostering or adoption after being exposed to everything on FosterNeedToKnow.com, they’ll be able to immediately contact Carl and Richland County directly from the site. And if learning about the arduous process they must go through to become certified is more than they were really prepared to do, it will save the caseworkers of Richland County the time and effort of finding that out later in the process.

Magnets that attract for Sharon Gingerich.

Sharon Gingerich wanted to produce refrigerator magnets that would reach out to possible foster parents, and needed a good idea. This was our first chance to add a new, desired marketing piece to the library of work available to all of you. Always trying to awaken that parent inside good prospects when they least expect it, we considered the media, the place it would be used, and what people would be likely be doing or thinking at that moment.

Reply back with a vote for your favorite execution, and we’ll add the top three choices to the library of work available to you.

And one easy way to get even more use from the magnet, is to make it available through a Facebook Post, asking your ‘friends’ if they would consider placing the magnet on the refrigerators in their break rooms wherever they work. Simply place a post that begins, “We hope you’ll use this magnet to help us attract more good foster parents” over the image of the magnet, with instructions of how to get a magnet and what to do with it.

Let us hear what you’d like to see in the
Foster Marketing Generator.

We are in the process of formatting a couple of the ideas in the Marketing Generator for Carl Hunnell to use as part of the slide show on the homepage of Richland County’s new website. As part of your membership, you are entitled to suggest and then vote on new marketing pieces to be created and added to the library of choices. We will add at least 4 new marketing pieces a year, based on what the membership most desires.

Please take a moment right now to send us your suggestions for any marketing pieces you may need. Simply click HERE to send an email.
