In March, I traveled to Houston for FotoFest and met many wonderful curators, artists and collectors at the portfolio review. I am looking forward to future collaborations. As a result of all the exposure I finally (finally!) updated my website:

PGH Photo Fair at the Carnegie Museum

Last weekend, my color works were exhibited at the Silver Eye Center for Photography's booth, during PGH Photo Fair at the Carnegie Museum of Art.

Investing in Professional Artists Grants Program

Residency at

I was selected from 323 applicants to attend MASS MoCA's four week residency program.  In June - July I'll be focusing on creating new sculptural photographic works.  This program is only in its second year: the Studios at MASS MoCA

Materials & Processes Exhibition

September 2 - October 29, 2016

I'm pleased to announce this upcoming exhibition at Silver Eye:

"Materials & Processes: Imaging the Elements of Photography focuses on a fascinating trend in contemporary photographic works that use elements of photographic tools and processes as the subject of the images. Normally the photograph is as a window to different world, and the physical properties of the image (paper, ink, silver, gelatin, etc ) almost disappear. These artists deliberately direct our attention to the core technologies of photography; paper, ink, light, chemistry and digital magic in ways that are surprising and beautiful.

Materials & Processes: Imaging the Elements of Photography includes works from Daniel Boardman, April Friges, Jessica Labatte, Andy Mattern, Zach Nadar, and Julie Weber."

Save the Date: October 2017, Solo Exhibition at Unsmoke Art Systems in Braddock, PA
