Feedback Opportunity on Summer Intern Presentations
Dear Friends;

As I mentioned in my last email, LandWatch is fortunate to have two terrific summer interns, Olivia Myers and Elizabeth Loh. Elizabeth Loh iscreating two presentations — one narrated, one not — to educate the public about; overtourism, with a focus on Big Sur.

We would appreciate your feedback on the final draft of Elizabeth’s’s overtourism presentation by Monday, August 26. This stand-alone, non-narrated, text-heavy version will be available on the LandWatch website as a downloadable PDF. Elizabeth is also working on a narrated version with less text that will be available on LandWatch's YouTube channel.

Please add your comments to the presentation using the “insert comment” function, or email Elizabeth directly at loh.elizabethjewel@gmail.com. If you have technical issues or questions, please let Elizabeth know.

Thank you very much for your review and feedback!

Regards,

LandWatch Comments on Groundwater Plan
LandWatch has made water supply one of our key focus areas. Without water—communities and agricultural production will suffer immensely. To this end, LandWatch is actively participating in efforts to help assure that seawater intrusion and overdrafting of the Salinas Valley Groundwater Basin is effectively addressed. So far we’ve commented on three chapters of the Groundwater Basin Plan. Read them on our website.
