EPRA Monthly Brief
November 2020
Earlier this month, EPRA released it first-ever study on Total Tax Contribution (TTC) of REITs in Europe produced in collaboration with PwC. Thanks to the participation of 48 European REITs from 11 countries and representing 82% of the entire European REITs portfolio value, this report provides an overview of the tax effort and contribution of REITs to the European public finance. And the results are impressive: as a whole, the study has gathered evidence-based data that for every EUR 100 of turnover, EUR 32.8 turn into tax contribution. You can read the full report here and reach out to the Public Affairs team should you have any question.  We will host a webinar aiming to give brighter information on the study on December 7, click here to register.

The Index & Research team has just released two Market Research papers, one covering the state of play in the European listed real estate and the other giving an interesting analysis of the European Residential sector evolution in the recent years. I invite you to read more below.

November has been rich of successful virtual events and webinars, namely the Virtual Bloomberg Intelligence and EPRA Real Estate Finance Summit 2020 as well as the second virtual EPRA Corporate Access Event which brought together 23 property companies and 76 investors in 288 meetings arranged in one day.
