What's Happening at Kuumba

Student vs Staff Basketball Game

Results
Kuumba staff defeated the Kuumba upper school students in a nail-biter 57-55.

In the final moments of the tied game, coach Marvin Atkins stole the ball from his son, Marvin.  Mr. White scored two free throw points to advance Kuumba staff to the lead, which ultimately gave them the victory.

Max Potts claimed the student's only victory of the day by winning the 7th & 8th grade knockout competition and Coach Marvin Atkins won the 7th & 8th grade 3-point competition.

6th grade teacher Kayla Sweet won both the 5th & 6th grade knockout game AND 3-point competition.  No mercy from Kuumba staff!
