Parents, Guardians, and Learning Coaches:
The Agora administration wanted to give our families an update related to the COVID-19 outbreak in Pennsylvania. This afternoon, Governor Wolf gave a press conference related to the coronavirus epidemic. In his speech, Governor Wolf ordered that beginning tomorrow, Friday, March 13, all schools in Montgomery County are to close for the next two weeks. However, as a cyber charter school, this should not impact Agora. Our dedicated and committed faculty and staff will continue to provide their high level of online instruction and services to help our learners achieve their highest potential. However, to comply with the Governor’s order, our main office building in King of Prussia, will be closed for the next two weeks. If you need to contact the office, email would be the best method since our office staff will be working remotely during this time and will still be available to help and support you.
As we have seen this past week, as new information comes in, there is a lot that can change in a very short period of time. Our administration is continuing to diligently monitor any information that comes out in relation to COVID-19 and will continue to send communication to our families. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we all work through this epidemic.
