Dear Friends,

For financial reasons, the Humane Society of the United States, who has been operating the Cape Wildlife Center in Barnstable, will no longer continue after March 1st, 2017.

The Center has been rescuing and rehabilitating thousands of orphaned, ill and injured wildlife for release back into the wild for many years. 

If the doors close, wildlife in need on Cape Cod will sadly suffer and die. 

We are not going to let that happen. 

But we need your help.

Starting December 10, 2016, Friends of Cape Wildlife will be hosting an online auction to raise funds. 

The more items we have the more money we can raise so please consider an item to donate. It can be tickets to a game, a show, dinner, travel, accommodations, a cruise, an adventure, a service, artwork, a gift certificate to your business or any other creative idea that people would enjoy.  

If you do not have an item to donate please consider a direct cash donation - that works even better! 

Give a little, and get a lot in return, with the knowledge that you have helped to protect and save the lives of our wild neighbors in distress.

Whether you have 1 item or 100 to contribute, community support is vital to our fundraising efforts and the continuation of the Cape Wildlife Center.
