Our planning for the 2021 EPRA Conference continues apace, and we remain hopeful that we can at least hold the main day in a hybrid format with part of our membership physically attending in Brussels. A good number of members have already registered for the event. Our efforts aim to make sure all health security and rules are met so that we can welcome you again after such a long break. Nevertheless, we retain the option to hold the event fully virtual and will make a final decision in early September.
Finally, on the Conference, I am delighted to see so many EPRA members being proud sponsors of our European listed industry flagship event. This shows once again that together with and for our members we can host the Conference each year. It is especially encouraging that post-pandemic the industry shows the willingness to come together, meet and share their experience. So, if you have not registered yet, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out our amazing lineup of speakers and agenda and hit the registration button to secure your place and join us. We are looking forward to it!
Special announcement for investors - you can now pencil in the date of our next Corporate Access Day - conditions allowing, the Winter edition in 2021 will be held in the iconic Chelsea Football Club, on 24 November. Stay tuned for the reveal of the participant companies and secure a spot to meet with their management.
Finally, the EPRA Mentoring Programme is now closed for registrations and I'm pleased to say that the interest exceeded our ambition for this inaugural session. This only proves the importance of diversity and inclusion for our sector, especially in the post-pandemic world where the focus on employee and corporate social responsibility is more important than ever.
In the meantime, the EPRA Team wishes you a good summer and remains at your disposal.

All European markets continue to recover
Each quarter, EPRA compiles a report on activity in the listed property sector in Europe. It includes useful data on the size and scale of the sector as well as the corporate activity of the past quarter. in Q2 2021 all European markets continued to recover with 10% (q-o-q) and 31% (y-o-y) market cap growths. Focussing on annual changes, almost all countries traded above pre-Covid19 levels (Q4-2019), except for France and the Netherlands, which are still traded below due to their heavy retail exposure. However, these too displayed strong recoveries during the first half of 2021. The top three markets in Q2 2021 were Germany (USD 144 billion, 22% market cap growth y-o-y), the UK (USD 104 billion, 40%), and Sweden (USD 103 billion, 59%). Norway (63%), Sweden (59%), the Netherlands (52%) and Belgium (29%) also showed resilience with strong rebounds. Download the full Total Markets Table report here.
