DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOCHEMISTRY

ALUMNI
NEWS & EVENTS

Despite the bewildering weather here in the Buckeye State, The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry remains full of optimism and light for our Spring semester! CBC alumnus, Sibrina Collins, visited us for a seminar and our alumni at the Lubrizol Corporation took our Graduate Students under their wings for a tour of their Wickliffe, Ohio facility. We have many Exemplary Alumni Seminars, and department events coming up that you don't want to miss out on!
Are you interested in being a judge at the 23rd Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum? The Denman will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the Ohio Union.
The Denman Forum is Ohio State's premier showcase for undergraduates to present their research of all disciplines. Judges need to meet the following criteria:
  • Ph.D.
  • Master's Degree plus 5 years of post-college experience
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of post-college experience
Know an outstanding CBC alum who is deserves to be acknowledged of their work?! The Ohio State University Alumni Association is calling for nominations for their 2018 Alumni Awards. Nominations will close on March 31, 2018. Contact Caitlin Golec if interested in nominating a fellow alum!
Are you a CBC alumnus who has their M.D.?! Because many of our majors plan to become physicians, we've created an M.D. committee to mentor those students through their undergraduate years to prepare for medical school. If you are interested in serving on this committee or mentoring our students, please contact Caitlin Golec.
