Hello fellow members of Merseyside Civic Society

Please accept my apologies for the loss of contact recently. As luck would have it in the same week that I became Chair I developed bronchitis.
Now that has passed I am looking forward to the year ahead. 2017 is full of promise for Merseyside Civic Society. With a new team in place we will be looking to deliver a much more proactive and creative organisation.

We carried out our first civic Saturday at Port Sunlight last weekend

Despite the transport problems the event was well attended and a great success.

You can read more about the day here:

New secretary

We have managed the last few months with a very unbalanced management structure. A council very into campaigns but with no secretary to hold the organisation together. We are therefore excited to announce that Michael Biggs has volunteered to be secretary with a focus on looking at how we can improve our organisational structure.
Along with our new Vice Chair, Andrew Weatherstone, Michael will also look at ways of establishing our communication system.
