PCL's Job Launch Program

Job Launch services are in full swing! Our team of 12 Employment Support Professionals continue to support people with exploring endless employment possibilities. Employment Support Professionals are partnering closely with our two Job Developers to understand how to properly customize jobs to fit individual needs. As a result, the people receiving our services are experiencing incredible employment outcomes!

Over the past 6 months, the Job Launch team has been able to successfully support over 40 people in varying stages of their employment path. 18 people are successfully maintaining jobs in their community and some have been able to do so with complete independence! As people learn and experience what is possible for them, we expect our number of people employed to continue to rise in the future. After 2 years of intense planning and transformation, we are excited to be able to welcome new people into our services.

The work being done within the Job Launch team is energizing, inspiring and completely contagious. We have a big job ahead of us as we push ourselves to professionalize and be great at this work. In the end, it is all for the magnificent, positive impact that meaningful employment has on people’s lives.
