Dear Alumni and Friends,

I hope you and yours are staying safe and well this summer. It has been wonderful “seeing” many of you during our virtual receptions over the past several weeks. We will host many more throughout the summer, and I hope you will join us on Zoom as your schedule allows!

As I shared with you last month, we have been working closely with the university and UF Health to safely reopen our campus this fall so that we may offer courses both in-person and remotely. The university released its reopening plan on Friday, and you may read more here. We continue to invest in new classroom technology, and we are actively developing protocols and procedures to ensure proper physical distancing and healthy behaviors on our campus.

Many of our students are excited to return to campus, and we very much look forward to welcoming a new class of 1Ls from across the country (and world)! This class will once again be our highest-credentialed and most diverse in UF Law’s history. I look forward to sharing more about these great students in the weeks to come.

For now, please stay safe and well. I hope to connect with you during one of our receptions or otherwise later this year.
