Hawkesbury headspace Bushfire Recovery

The Hawkesbury headspace Bushfire Recovery Service provides care coordination and early intervention services to young people aged 12-25 years in the Hawkesbury area who have been affected by the Bushfires.

Simone Thorne, who is the Senior Clinician for the Hawkesbury service, is interested in connecting with young people in the area. Young people can self-refer by phone on 4720 8850 or via email. Alternatively GPs can help them arrange an appointment.

Call for Disaster Response GP Volunteers

We maintain a register of GPs who are willing to be contacted in the event of a disaster to provide medical assistance at designated emergency evacuation centres. We acknowledge that in a disaster GPs are often members of the same community and can sometimes be impacted personally. Therefore expressed availability is voluntary and continually assessed throughout any emergency situation. To express your interest in being on this register, complete the online form.
