News from Camp Dudley & Camp Kiniya

Applications Available Now

Summer of 2017 here we come! It’s only 7 months until we welcome you all back here to the shores of Lake Champlain for another amazing summer at our camps. The application deadline for campers is January 15th, 2017 so get those applications in now before the busy holiday season hits. New and Returning Campers can head to our Apply Now page to submit their application for the 133rd season at Dudley or the 99th season at Kiniya. We can't wait to have you join us.

Help Us Find Great New Campers

How do we find campers each summer? Well, the simple answer is…YOU! Each year we need to find over 200 new boys and about 100 new girls to join our returning campers to ensure that we fill our bunks. In that effort we rely solely on alumni, parents, and current campers to help find our new campers each summer. We don’t advertise or attend camp fairs. That’s because you are our best advertisement and you know a Dudley or Kiniya kid when you see them. We’re primarily looking for boys currently in 5th grade and girls in 4th grade (but we have new campers come in up to age 14). Help us find the new generation of Dudley and Kiniya campers today.

Announcing the Dudley Gap Experience!

In September 2017, we are kicking off our brand new Dudley Gap Experience program with a lucky group of young men and women. We’re incredibly excited about this 100-day leadership program, and so are our instructors, Kat Nelson and Tom McDonough. Interested? Check out the Gap page for information about the experience, the application process, and much more. Also, be sure to read about the program in the upcoming CD news.

Post Cards From Our Past!

Today the Camp Dudley Antique Post Card Collection becomes available for all to see! Electronically! Visit the Camp Dudley Online Archives and take a few minutes to stroll across the Campus and discover a bygone era. It is an amazing history lesson.

Beginning around the turn of the century, when writing was the only way of communication, Camp Dudley provided post cards to allow campers to stay in touch with the folks back home. (Old fashioned writing is still used today!)  However, what remains is a fascinating visual history of Camp and its early Campers. Check out the Camp Dudley Post Card History.
