Kingston Gets Active Month Happens All September 
Kingston Gets Active Month is back in September 2019! Check out the calendar of FREE events being offered by 19 Community sport and recreation providers.  There is something for every age.

Grade 5 and 9 ActivPass Begins Sept 23

Grade 5 and 9 ActivPass 

Kingston Gets Active is excited to launch another year of the Grade 5 and 9 ActivPass. Starting on September 23, 2019 through August 31, 2020, the ActivPass will provide grade 5 and 9 students FREE access to many recreation facilities at designated times to swim, skate and use the gym! Seeking Volunteer Physical Activity Ambassadors
Are you passionate about leading an active lifestyle?  Want to motivate and inform others about becoming more active? Sign up to be a Kingston Gets Active Volunteer Ambassador!  

Ambassadors attend community events, give presentations, lead fit breaks, and help out in so many other ways.  A free training will be offered October  8 & 10. Check our website for more information, for an application form, or to get in touch.

Want to get active outside but don’t know where to start? Break out your sneakers, join Breakwater Parkrun Kingston and get active with us!  It's FREE!

Scarecrow Festival 
The 
Scarecrow Festival will be held on Saturday September 28 from 12-3pm at the Kingston Community Health Centre (263 Weller Ave). Free BBQ and fun activities for the whole family.  Come and introduce yourself to our KGA Ambassadors.

Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network FAB Trails Festival
Come celebrate our incredible Frontenac hiking, biking & paddling network.  The event will be held at Charleston Lake from 11am-4pm on Saturday, Sept 28.  All ages are welcome.  This is a Kingston Gets Active Month event.

The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network is a volunteer led non-profit organization responsible for maintaining the UNESCO biosphere reserve designation since 2002.
