Hello <<First Name>>,
Here is your weekly E-Bulletin!

Finding Happiness in Marriage

So you’ve shared an anniversary or two… or twenty… and you’ve learned a lot about yourselves and each other so far. But what if marriage is more than you think it is? What if God has woven into the very fabric of your humanity a purposeful need and desire that can only be fulfilled in your marriage?

We are inviting all couples to experience firsthand the wonder, mystery, and joy behind that first “I do”... whether you said it last year or many years ago.  Please join us for one short hour to take a look at the mystery and the meaning of the sacrament of marriage.  From 6:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, February 26 we will gather to watch Session 1 of the video series Beloved.  There will be desserts, coffee and after dinner drinks.  In addition childcare will be provided, beginning at 5:45 pm.  Please send questions and RSVP to Kristia Loeder at dre@st-patrick-parish.com with your name and number of children if applicable.  Hope to see you and your spouse for this event.

Shamrock Spree 2017

This year's Shamrock Spree will be on Saturday, March 11th at 6:30 pm in St. Patrick Hall with a catered meal of Corned Beef & Cabbage or Chicken, Bingo, Euchre tournament, Silent Auction and raffle. At this time we are asking for donations for the Shamrock Spree annual raffle. Envelopes are in the pew for cash donations, which can be dropped in the collection basket or at the Parish Office over the next few weeks. Also, we will again be running a silent auction comprising of gift baskets, gift cards and other merchandise that is donated by local businesses and parishioners. Recommended values of silent auction ideas should be in $25-$75 range, but any price range is acceptable. Silent Auction donations can be dropped off at the Parish Office during the week or at the back of church prior to Mass (see ushers). Parishioners are encouraged to deliver donations prior to March 3rd, so that we may begin the Silent Auction the weekend prior to the Spree.

Shamrock Spree Volunteers Needed

The Shamrock Spree Committee is in need of a few more volunteers to help this year's event be a success. Sign up sheets are located on the parish bulletin board. We are mostly in need of folks to help set-up and clean-up. You will be contacted with more details after you sign up. Thanks for your help!

2017 Diocese of Madison Annual Catholic Appeal Begins - Please Make a Generous Pledge

This week, parishioners throughout the Diocese will receive a mailing from Bishop Morlino. The Bishop is asking for a pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal to support the ministries of the Diocese of Madison. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge payable over 5-months to the appeal. Your gift will help enable the diocese to reach its goal and provide grant opportunities for Catholic schools, religious education programs and assisting distressed parishes in need. Thank you for your continuing support of our parish, Diocese and the work of the Church throughout the world.

Calling All Singers

Rehearsals for the Easter choir will begin on Wednesday, March 8th at 6:15 p.m. in the church for preparation to sing on Easter Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Your help is needed and all voices are welcome. This is a very special season in the church. The beauty and prayerfulness of the Mass is greatly impacted by the music that is sung and played. But - it can't be accomplished without you! Please consider singing in the Easter choir and help glorify our Lord!! We will practice each week on Wednesday evenings leading up to Easter. If you have any questions, please contact Tammy Nordman at music@st-patrick-parish.com. Thank You!

TEC Retreat #167

Coming to St. Clements of Lancaster: The date is March 17-19. TEC (Together Encountering Christ) is an intergenerational movement of the Catholic Church especially designed to help meet the spiritual needs of Catholic Christians. Although it is an amazing experience for anyone over 16 years of age, it can be especially rewarding for those youth who are preparing for or have been recently Confirmed and those adults in the RCIA program. This is also an invitation for those who have already experienced a TEC to come and help by working on team. Fr. John Sasse is the Spiritual Director. Jeff Jackson is the director and can be reached at 608.778.6027. Applications and more information about TEC can be found at www.kairostec.org.
